They look confused.
As I awake, an answer.
Who are you today?
A perplexing question.

Give me a moment to think.
They ask again: how are you today?
Variation: Attempt 1

I know the answer when I awake,
but after that first cup, I change.
As do we all.
They ask me again: how are you today?
Fine, thank you, and how are you?
