He grinds his teeth, wondering if Terry ratted him out, if this is about yesterday at lunch, when he shoved Terry hard against the lockers before he reined his wolf in.  Or maybe it was Michelle with her hand slipping in around his thigh under the desk, and how he squeezed her wrist so hard it bruised almost instantly and he had to bolt to the bathroom before his fangs surfaced.

Linear Equations

Stiles thinks about lines.

He thinks about how they go on forever, how Euclid said they had breadthless length and how the first time Stiles read that, his eyes flicked over the page so fast that he thought he’d read breathless instead.

He tries not to think about breathlessness.

Derek glanced back at Stiles standing in what was left of his foyer, hands deep in his pockets.  Was this some sort of joke?  Derek gave a little no shit tilt of his head.

“I’m in,” repeated Stiles, adding a defiant jut to his chin. 

Okay, I’ll bite. ”In what?”

“Your little leather wolf pack.”

The Manifesto:

This is why Sherlock and Mycroft’s relationship seems like (one of) the most interesting and complex to me.  First, we don’t know their history, only that there are “old resentments” but it leaves so much room to play with and that’s wonderful.  And second, it is endlessly amusing how they constantly regress to seven year olds in each other’s company.  It’s so true because my brother gives me rage blackouts without even trying and I hate how he can make me start yelling at him and make me look like an absolute fool which, you know, maybe that’s why Mycroft and Sherlock don’t like to hang out either because they know so much about the other.  Though I like to imagine that there’s more love - well, no, I’m sure of that - between them.
